QR code for your restaurant menu

The menu changes; the codes stuck to the tables stay. With an editable code you only change the destination, and you see how often the menu is opened.

Fill in the fields to see your QR.

Static QR: free and works forever, but it can't be edited and its scans aren't counted.

Why an editable code for a menu?

Your menu changes with the seasons and the specials board, and sometimes the file’s address changes too. With an editable code, the printed code stays the same and you change the page it points to.

With a static code, the link is baked in: if your menu moves, you reprint. The steps are in editing a printed QR code.

Where do I put my menu online?

Scanotte doesn’t host files: your menu needs to be online somewhere (your website, a shared PDF, a booking page). The code points to that link; see the QR code for a PDF.

Want several links (menu, bookings, Instagram, reviews)? Scanotte’s multi-link page puts them behind one code, with your name and a welcome line.

How much does it cost?

Static QR codes are free and unlimited. For editable QR codes with statistics: 1 is free, then Starter at €6.90 a month (15 editable QR codes), Pro at €12.90 a month (100) or Business at €39 a month (500). Billed yearly, that’s €5.90, €11 and €33 a month.

If you stop paying, nothing dies overnight: whatever fits the free plan keeps working as usual, and the rest keeps redirecting, read-only, for 12 months before showing an “expired” page. Picking a plan again brings everything back.

How big should a table code be?

At least 2 cm (about 0.8 in) wide, bigger if scanned from further away. Dark dots on light, no oversized logo, and a test with two phones before printing.

A table tent or a sticker near the edge can be scanned without standing up. Write “Menu” above it so guests know what they’re opening.

Should I keep paper menus?

That’s a service choice, but many restaurants keep a few paper menus for guests without a phone or battery. The code complements; it doesn’t have to replace.

On the same table you can add the Google review code, presented with the bill.

How do I know guests use it?

Check the editable code’s statistics: scans per day and over the last 7 days, devices, systems. You quickly see whether it’s used more at lunch, dinner or weekends.

The numbers don’t say who scanned: Scanotte never keeps IP addresses and sets no cookie on your guests’ phones.

Frequently asked questions

Is the menu QR code free?

One editable code is included in the free plan, with 30 days of statistics. For more, Starter costs €6.90 a month.

Do guests need to install an app?

No, the phone camera is enough, and the page opens in the browser.

Do my codes stop if I cancel?

Not overnight: what fits the free plan keeps working, the rest redirects read-only for 12 more months before showing “expired”.

Can I use a PDF?

Yes, if your PDF is online (website, shared storage): the code points to its link. Scanotte doesn’t host the file itself.
